Since the military takeover in 2021, the number of people in need has increased eighteenfold. Today, more than 18.6 million people —including millions of children— are struggling to survive in extreme conditions, displaced and without access to basic services like healthcare, clean water, or education.
The situation is dire: more than 2.7 million people have been displaced within the country. Many of them are children who have lost their homes, their schools, and their right to a dignified childhood.
